Stillwater Library Pop-Up Book Clubs

Looking Ahead in the 21st Century

With excitement we invite you to our Pop-Up Book Club events for adults.
Three times a year we are providing a space and time for thoughtful community discussion of our global world. Everyone is welcome. Interested participants are encouraged to read one book from our suggested titles and join us on a Monday evening. We aren’t solving the problems of the world but we hope to discuss what our journalists, researchers and authors are offering us!

Our winter 2020 event will be February 24: Our theme is Optimism and Nature’s Diversity in the 21st Century.

Our spring POP-UP will be April 20, 2020. Stay tuned for the selected titles!

Nonfiction Book Club

We invite you to our newly established Nonfiction Book Club. Readers are invited to join us throughout the year to discuss a newly published title or to read on a theme. Our first meeeting on Sunday March 29 at 1:30 will be a discussion of The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee: Native America from 1980 To The Present by David Treuer. Click here for more information.
